Who plans to buy a C6?

Unless it looks like a "Ford"

I plan on getting a C6 Convertible as soon as they come out

Concidentally enough, just today, I talked to the Sales Manager of Les Stanford Chevrolet today. He and I were at a local Corvette show. I am #2 on their wait list, and yes, I did place a deposit on one last week!

I want to see one in person before I decided.

I'm waiting for the Z06 or Hi-Po version.

I'm going to put a $1,000 deposit down and be on the list for a C6.....it's refundable if I change my mind. Also, it allows you to know you can get a C6 for MSRP......thats pretty cool, because after the detroit show and the PR starts going...that might be tough..

So you don't think the dealer (whoever that is) will kindly put whatever the market will bear markup on it because of being new and the dealers can't get ahold of more yet? I mean despite your $1,000 deposit?

The dealer that I have talked to has a contract to sell at MSRP when you put the $1000 down. And the $1000 is refundable up until the time of order. Seems like a can't lose situation!
