I'm taking Museum delivery on my 2006 convertible on September 29th. Does anyone know where I can get a transparent bra installed in the Bowling Green area before I start the trip home to California?

Call the museum, and ask for Adam Boca. If someone around BG does clear protection, he'll know.

Not sure where to get the Bra at, but my advise to you is to take it off as soon as you finish the trip, if not you can hurt the paint by leaving it on too long.

I'm not sure you want to remove a whole lot of money after one trip. I have one on my C6 and to date have not seen any problems. A friend of mine had one and took it off after he damaged it. It protected the paint and to the best of my knowledge did not harm it. The sales pitch says that it allows UV Rays through it and there-by allows the paint to age in the same manner the rest of the car does.
I hope I'm correct, if not I'm going to one ticked off person!

OH! A transparent bra for CARS! I thought you meant the other kind of bra.... now THAT would be cool!

I think I will just take a box of Saran Wrap with me for my museum delivery on the 3rd of October. Seriously.

The Saran wrap sounds like a good idea. Maybe I'll try that. I was told by the Museum folks that GM recommends that nothing is done for at least 90 days.

The museum people told me that they don't want to get involved with putting bra's on. Apparently they will if someone insists on it. In the end I did nothing. I drove it some 1750 miles back to Arizona and scrubbed some 186 (j/k) bugs off of the front end. No chips.
