If you are suffering brake fade in the older Vett's like the C3's you might want to switch your brake fluid to silicone brake fluid, I did this in my C3 and it is a much better brake fluid. The silicone disperses moisture and doesnt  heat up like the regular fluid which is the cause of brake fade the silicone has a much higher boiling point. Just make sure you get all the old stuff out first. This fluid will also prevent corrosion in your system.

I am planning on this adventure in about a month while on vacation.  However, I always observe the "break in" recommendations, varying speed and staying below 60 mph for the first 500 miles.  Will be driving our new CTS V Coupe with the ZR1 engine detuned to 556 hp.  The car is due to arrive this week.Big smile  After the break-in miles, we will be heading southeast.

Doing the Tail of the Dragon was the most fun I have had with my clothes on ,did it May 19th 2010 ,pictures are at killboy.com  ,cars, page 9 the red and blue C6 ,the north end was closed due to rock slides ,so we entered on the NC side ,ran up to the Tenn. side and turned around and ran it back ,it is something to put on your bucket list .
