I plan to run my Z51 auto on the quarter mile soon. I'm just waiting for the rain here in Florida to give us a brake!

The quarter mile times are interesting but have you seen the article in Motor trend about the 2006 Z06 on the Nurburgring in Germany?. It seems the Z06 in street tires ran the northern half of the track in 7 min 44.99 seconds. This is faster than the Lambo and the ONLY car to run a better time is that $430,000.00 Porshe. The Porsche was ten seconds faster over the 7 mile track. The standard 2005 C6 was about 8 min 10 seconds. One of the C6R drivers did the honors.

I made it to the eigth mile a couple of weeks ago. Best time was 08:58 at 85 mph. Car is a stock Z51 auto.

I want to run my vert, but they tell me I need a roll bar. Not going to do that.

OK I finally made it to the 1/4 mile track. My car is a stock 2005 Z51 automatic with a Callaway intake. It ran a 12:73 at 109 mph.
