power loss

my 2008 coupe died going down the road. sat for awhile and restarted. headed home and died agian before i arived. will start and then die agian. checked bat and ok. had trouble code u0100. ecm not comunicating. let set overnight. started. but now my compitition traction mode wont display. am afraid to drive and shut down agian. what should i check.
