It's no wonder they are shutting down the plant.  It's the economy.  I just purchased a 2009 ZO6 that had been sitting on a dealers lot for 300 days!  Got a GREAT deal! Thumbs Up  When I bought my C6  in 2005,  I shopped all over the nation and was finally able to negotiate slightly less than the actual sticker price!
And I waited for delivery for 6 months!

Stern Smile  Glad U got a world class car , for a price U were satisfied with. The reason I posted the closing was to let anyone planning to visit  BowlingGreen  and planning to tour the plant. As for as my thumbs down sad face its my feelings toward my brothers at the plant who will be out of work and yes it bothers me about the production numbers and the future of the vette. My first I purchased in 1967 and was a 63 fuelie, my 9th one and current 05 I bought new.

For the sake of all of us who have either purchased and or intend to purchase a new Vette,
I sincerely hope that the working staff at Bowling Green doesn't wind up with a "don't care
attitude", because we all know what the result will be, problems with our beloved vehicle.
