Paddle shift

My C6 convertible with paddle shift will not shift from 1st gear to 2nd gear at high rpm. Any help would be appreciated.

At what speed and RPM are you at when it wont shift?

Try pushing the paddle down to make it shift

With paddle shift, down shifts it up a gear and up shifts it down a gear. Sounds like it wont shift when he does push it down. Try shiffting at a lower speed or have you already tried that?
