Got in my 2005 after going on a 50 miles cruise the day before and the door

didn’t want to unlock, it finally did.  Then when I pushed the start button

all it did was make like a buzzing sound and nothing.  I tried about 4 times

nothing – lights were on – opened the hood the light was on in there -

opened the hatch light was on in there.

I got back in the car and the darn thing started.  I hate not trusting this car

– any ideas on what might be wrong or what happened?

Maybe the battery in your FOB is getting weak? The car didnt pick up the signal. Some times if I have my key in my left pocket it says no FOB detected.

Same thing happend to me on my 2005. I tried replacing the battery on the FOB but that was not the problem. Try shacking the FOB then trying again. There is a switch in the FOB that will turn it off if no movement. I tried my second FOB that got no usage same problem. Just shake it to turn the battery in the FOB then it works.
