Has anyone with a C6 tried this on their car yet? It's an IAT relocator assembly that seems to work great on LS2 GTO's.

Relocating the IAT sensor has worked well in other applications, too...such as in the L98/LT1/LT4 series engines. Don't see why it wouldn't benefit others.

I apologize for sounding like a dummy, but, what is " heat soak". I'm not familiar with the terminology.

I know that this thread is old, but there could be other owners curious too: When you drive your vehicle down the street and pull over and shut it off, your engine still acts as though it's running. It just got finished combusting but now has no cooling flow either liquid and air. It's temperature begins to rise and continues to rise for about 15 minutes and this, is heat soak. If you were to sit inside and watch a temp gauge you would feel sorry for your car. Or if you shined one of those cool lazer heat guns around certain hot places on the engine you would worry.
Here is what I do and I never, ever, fail to do with any vehicle, (including cycles). The first 15 minutes after you stop running your engine we are not finished driving yet. I will pop the hood at club meets, shows, but maybe not raise it fully, but while at home a full raise with a fan is part of my job.
You can't imagine the environment that is under your hood for 15 minutes after shutting down. And oh yea, the paint on you hood says thanks too.
