I have C6 Victory Edition with the normal suspension set up. Is there any way I can soften the suspension or at least make it less harsh. I suppose that sounds a sacrilegious thing to say for such a fine sports car, but the roads in the UK, apart from the motorways, are almost 3rd world in their condition.
I have reduced the tire pressues to 27psi.
Best wishes Chris

I would change the tires before doing anything to the suspension. The stock runflat Goodyear tires are very hard. We use a non-runflat tire (Nitto) and have a flat kit/pump on board. Never used it. The change is huge. FUR 2009-01-13 14:44:27

Thanks very much, I will make that my first alteration. Why did you specify Nitto? They are almost unheard of in the uk. Do they have special characteristics that suit the Corvette??
Regards Chris and thanks again

Part of the problem are the stock runfllat tires. If you want to go through the expense to change these to Michelin Pilot Sport or non run flat like Kumho of Vredstein this will be a noticable change in ride and noise.
Another popular change is to remove the stock shocks and replace with Koni FSD or Bilstein Sport
