I had a 2005 up to about 2 months ago. I had it 18 months and put 27 thousand miles on it. The inside of the front tires started getting a bit choppy looking. I took it in and the alignment was off. I was told the factory just gets them close and you should align them at the dealer as soon as you can after buying it. This may not be your situation but there's my two cents worth. BTW, I traded it in on a 2007 and had the alignment checked after one thousand miles. It was off and needed aligned. Good luck!

What type of tire wear you are experincing? Cupping is generally a result of improper wheel alignmentand is a common problem among C6's.
Unfortunately, the C6s frequently do not come with correct wheel alignment.
Dealers will correct your wheel alignment under warranty during the first year if you have less than 10,000 miles or something like that, although owners of new C6s should have it done around 1,000 miles.

At almost 16,000 the inside edge of my right front tire was bald. Bump steer has been a problem, too. The dealer said the alignment was good. A local tire shop had the tire camber off by .2 degrees from left to right. The tire shop corrected the camber to match the lesser messurement (0.7 deg). The tires were replaced. The bump steer is gone, and the tires are wearing more even.
