Drag Strip 6sp auto best modes???

Hi, I want to to what my 12 GS will do in a 1/4 mile. If I keep it floored thru the 1/4 , will it shift itself at top RPM (6300 rpms, i think) . Or what does it do if you pull the sfifter to S ? and is traction controll best to use? Norwalk /Summit raceway is STICKY off the line. Your shoes will stick to it!!  thanks, Don

If you drop down to "S" (Sport mode) the shift will occur about 300 rpm higher, or at about 6600, just before the red-line.  I tried this and confirmed it on my 2007.  As to the mode setting, I have not really understood these, so I always leave it in regular or non-slip.  If somebody in here knows the difference between the different modes and their use, they could enlighten us both.
