My 2005 Z51 auto. with 27000 miles on it would not start the other night after I had been driving the car all day. Came out of the movie theather and it would start but not run for more than 3-5 seconds, engine sounded like it was only running on every other cylinder and when I touched the gas, the car would die. Car showed no codes so I had it towed to the dealer. Started and seemed to run fine in the morning but the Service Fuel System came up in the dash. Moved the car about 300 feet and when the went to start it to pull it into the service bay, it would not run again. They have worked on it for 2 days now and can't seem to find the problem. Anyone have any ideas?

Have you ruled out bad fuel ?

Just want every one to know that the problem was a bad body ground in the rear of the car around the transmission.Thanks for your suggestions.
