C6 ENGINE INFO!

There's a guy on another forum that claims to have seen a tech bulletin at the Training Center north of Atlanta that quotes 475hp for the C6 and 525hp for the C6 Z06. The numbers just don't fit anything except the observed 472hp engine on the dyno in this thread.

It is certain that the LS7 will be a 24 valve engine. I assume that Zippy has enough experience to see the significant difference in the required valvecover and overall engine appearance to know if this was an LS7 or not. No one knows for certain if the LS2 will have 16 or 24 valves. Its appearance could be similar to the LS1 or LS6 - or not. Unknown.

Well, if they can put a 5.7L 400HP LS6 in a Cadillac CTS (see URL below), then 400++HP should not be a problem in a C6. More and more cars are beefing up their HP.
