C6 APPARENTLY sighted in San Fran.

I visit this forum most everyday and I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the hoopla about the red C6 that supposedly was spied in San Fran over the weekend. There is quite a commotion over at the Digitalcorvettes, Ls1 and Corvetteforums forums. If you haven't yet, you might want to check it out. There are still a couple pictures hanging around, otherwise, it looks like most have been taken down (for what ever reason). I just thought I would share what I have seen with all here becasue I haven't seen any mention of it here.

Somehow I'm very dissapointed. I'm sure it will grow on me(I hated unconditionally the first C5 I saw, and now like 'em alright) but its very similar to the C5 just a bit boxier and without popup headlights. Would have been a great 50th celebration only body. Whole new model I'm not so sure.

The front end looks like the tiger. I like that part. The rest I'll reserve judgement on till I see and drive one.

After seeing these "actual" photos, I am kind of lukewarm about the styling. Too much Viper influence on the side and it seems to try to blend angles with curves. The XLR seems to do a better job tying it all together.

I've been following these threads in other forums, and today there is a pic of the next MOTOR TREND front cover, featuring a shot of the C6. Probably taken at the infamous photshoots in SF.

I'm glad I've had my C6 order in for 18 months.
