Question to Dave Hill:
Why did you make the C-5 Corvette on inch narrower than the C-5?
Answer: Dave Hill:
"We wanted to make the car more compact, more taut. We wanted to capture buyers coming from smaller cars made overseas. We also want to do better with the Corvette in the European sphere than we do today. A smaller, more compact C6 will make it easier. We had to challenge ourselves, and get the non-mandatory bulk out of the car. We wanted to make it more attractive to somebody who might be in a Porsche or Nissan today."
