Anyone ever have a buzzing sound from the right side of your car? You can hear it inside the car but only seems to do it on real windy days. I first thought it was the front cowl vibrating against the winshield, not so. Still searching for the culpret, I just ordered new air filter for the compartment filter maybe it is this.

My guess of what you are hearing might be a tree leaf that somehow got into one of the airways of the ventilation system, or a tag or piece of loose tape left on from the manufacturing process.
What I have heard from the right side of my '08, and also from the '07 before that, is a faint thump, thump, thump sound for about one or two seconds. It usually happens shortly after the first time that I take off after starting up. And to me it sounds something like an auto tensioner resetting itself - perhaps like a seat belt tensioner. But only from the right side. It's probably not related to what you are hearing, but I'd like to know what it is also.

No leaf's in the car, I'm replacing the cabin filter, maybe this will do the trick. I have to take the car back to the dealer on a windy day, they have not figured out what it is either and they have heard it.

Ok the problem has been solved, the cowl at the rear of the hood just under the wipers was vibrating against the windshield, it would only happen when there was a cross wind from the side while driving down the road. The dealer is replacing the cowl for me.

So far so good, the cowl seems to be working fine no more noise.

Now my FOB is acting up like Fatty1 had with his so I guess I'll change out battery.

I have had FOB trouble on my 2008 Z06 with coins in my pocket or pocket knife.

At 4,000 miles, I had to replace AC Delco battery and at 9,000 miles it is getting week.

What a sorry factory battery. Guess on warranty I will let dealer keep relacing and then go to Optima.Angry
