Id like to replace the OEM slotted rotors with slotted/
drilled rotors on my 06 C6. I'm not looking to modify
the position of the calipers thus the change wuld involve the same diameter rotors.
I've read about Baer one piece rotors that are Zinc
plated, thus eliminate corrision.
Any advice, comments or suggestions.
Thanks

I've heard they are good rotors. Why do you want to change rotors? Appearance ? Track use ? Just wondering why you would want to spend the extra $$$ when the OEM brakes are excellent.

In aswer to your question, the contimplated change is for "looks" only. I also want to either paint the calipers or use the caliper covers avaiable from
Ecklers.
Thanks for your interest in my query.

The guys at westcost corvette were very helpful in my change over, if you are going to change and spend the money, go larger for better stopping and cooling. I have the 2pc slotted and drilled rotors.

I have heard that the covers create excess heat and thus lead to beake fade and excessive wear.
