I have a 2006 Z06 that with about any bump in the road the ashtray door opens. I have found that this has been a problem that Chevrolet did make a ashtray door latch replacement part installed under warrenty but has since been discontinued. The part number for this part is 10324612 If anyone has one of this part or knows someone who might I would be most greatful for there information. Thanks for any input John Mason

It is available from one of our local dealers here....at least it SAYS "available", and that normally means they either have it in stock, or another dealer has at least one. Just because it has been discontinued does not mean a dealer does not have one. You just gotta find a dealer parts guy that will look.

I contacted them directly and they said they dont have the latch assembly and they have never had one in stock. But thanks for trying
