Vette(s): 1973 Stingray Coupe and C5 and C6 Coupes.
With technology the way it is, it is hard to speculate, but I would suspect that the next generation of Corvette would have a substantial increase in HP and torque. |thumb|

Vette(s): None yet, right now I'm just a Vette-head.
Kudos to that. As soon as Chevy tells us (which probably won't be untill next January when the C6 is formally revealed to the public).

Vette(s): 1986 Coupe Metallic Red Targa Top all kinds of mods
it'll be a 6.0 (RPO LS2) and a 6.4 in '06 (RPO LS7).

also, a 6.0 is around 366 not 383 (which is about a 6.3).

guesses right now say around 400 HP (give or take 20). there's not really a concern of making it faster then the current z06. i think the z06 makes up about 21% of the production corvette, not really making it a "limited" production car like the zr1 was.

Several months ago there was a slip up on a GM site and all engines were listed showing code and displacement but, unfortunately NOT HP. The LS2 will be a 6.0L and the LS7 will be a 6.4L I will try to show posting here as a quote. Don't know if it will work. About a month following this mistake, GM announced it was developing a V12 for Cadillac.
THIS LIST OF ENGINES WAS TAKEN RIGHT FROM GMs MASTER RPO LIST.
THEIR ARE SEVERAL ENGINES THAT COULD SHOW UP IN THE C6.
WHAT DO YOU THINK?
NOTICE THE LS2 & LS7 OR MAYBE THE LTS OR LTT (WOW)

LS1 14932 P ENG M ENGINE GAS, 8 CYL, 5.7L, SFI, ALUM, GM 961001 E X E A

LS2 14933 P ENG M ENGINE GAS, 8 CYL, 6.0L, SFI, ALUM, GM 10315 E X E A

LS6 14937 P ENG M ENGINE GAS, 8 CYL, 5.7L, SFI, ALUM, HO, GM 125 E X E A

LS7 14938 P ENG M ENGINE GAS, 8 CYL, 6.4L, SFI, ALUM, HO, GM 718 E X E A

LTS 14959 P ENG M ENGINE GAS, 12 CYL, 7.5L, SFI, V12, DOHC, VVT, ALUM, HO, GM 20829 E X E A

LTT 14960 P ENG M ENGINE GAS, 12 CYL, 7.5L, SFI, V12, DOHC, VVT, ALUM, TURBO, GM
