Does anybody here, drive their vette, 12 months a year through rain, snow, sleet etc.? I live in the northeast (NY) and plan on using mine yearly. Of course, when the snow's too deep, I'll drive my Avalanche. Just curious !

I haven't driven a Corvette year round since I owned just one car. A 1959 Vette in college.
I can see it being done but I don't think it would be much fun.
Just my opinion. It's your Corvette to do with what you want.

I drive my '05 year round here on Long Island, NY except went there's snow on the roads. I also try to avoid driving in the rain, but hey, the vette doesn't melt (actually handles pretty well in a downpour). |thumb|

I live in the NW (Seattle area) and drive my 2005 C6 (factory delivery) anytime and everywhere I can. I intend to mount winter tires on a spare set of rims this year. It has been on numerous long trips, in all kinds of weather, and has run and handled great. I have also put about 3000 miles of track driving on it. People, it is a car and is designed to be used, not cowering under cover in a garage with the owner afraid to expose it to weather.

MY C6 is my daily driver. When we get ice or snow it stays in the garage and the SUV comes out. I drive about 70 mi/day to and from work and would not like to do it any other car but my Vette.

Here in Washington, DC we see some snow - the days when my '05 C6 Convertible stays in the garage. Otherwise, it is a daily driver. The Millenium Yellow finish stands out in a crowd out no matter what time of the year. The Corvette is for driving and that's exactly what I do with it.

Yup - and love every minute - with the exception of snow, then it stays home and I take my SUV. |saluteflag|
