I am a new memmber, I own a 07 C6 Auto. I live in Calif.I am looking for more performance. I am not sure what to do. Not many people do performance upgrades that I know of in the Bakersfield area. Considering the new 08 C6 or possibly a Z06. Not sure what to do? Is the Zo6 going to be too crazy for wife to drive? Any input will be appreciated.

I'm sure your wife could handle the Z06 but I feel that at that level (horsepower) you def have more than you could ever use in a legal manner....

I am not on this site too much. I heard the base coupe for 2008 will be 430HP ... what will happen to the 2008 Z06?

2008 Z06 will be the same 505 hp. In 2009 a Z07 will be introduced. Two year run of that. Rumor says 650 hp- supercharged. Not sure if it will replace the Z06 or they will have 3 levels. Base, Z06 and Z07. Then it'll be time for the C7.
