Hello. New owner of a 2009. The car has older hankook tires. 0714 stamped on them. Looking at the michelins. Anybody riding on the all season tires?

Vette(s):
SOLD - "The Toy" - '70 Convertible
SOLD - "The Beast" - '90 ZR-1 (#682)
SOLD - "Betty" - '28 Ford Model A Tudor
SOLD - "BLKBRRD" - '78 Pontiac Trans Am
"BLUBYU" - '04 Coupe

Howdy - congrats on the new ride! I was seriously considering getting into a C6 earlier in the year but decided on a C5.

I personally don't know anyone running Michelins but have several friends who absolutely love the Continental ExtremeContacts. Not knowing which suspension your car has I picked the standard suspension for this TireRack search and filtered for just the Continentals and Michelins: https://www.tirerack.com/tires/TireSearchResults.jsp?filtering=true&frontWidth=245%2F&frontRatio=40&frontDiameter=18&rearWidth=285%2F&rearRatio=35&rearDiameter=19&autoMake=Chevrolet&autoYear=2009&autoModel=Corvette+C6+Convertible&autoModClar=Standard+Model&frontSortCode=54000&rearSortCode=57950&tireIndex=0&sortValue=22&sortValue=22#allTitle

I put Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 ZP's on my '08 convertible with Z51 suspension shortly after purchasing the car in May 2024. Got about 1000 miles on them. Like them.

I run the Pilots and have for years on my '08. They are great for me, never an issue. I do have several friends who swear by the Continentals though.I don't think you could go wrong either way. Both are tried and true.

I've been running Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 Run Flats on my 2012 GS 'vert for about 6 years and am very happy with them. They worked really well when I was caught in a pouring rain storm on I-5 from Salinas to Los Angeles (started about 5 minutes after I got on the I-5 and didn't end until I hit the I-405 interchange). They're very grippy and predictable in the canyons. They do need to be nursed on a hot launch (manual transmission).
I don't know about Conti for Corvettes but I've had two very poor experiences with Conti on different cars, the last one being my wife's 2018 Tesla Model 3 where they came OEM. Replacing the Conti with Michelin Primacy MXM4 was really successful for us. Better in the rain, better in the dry, good enough for light snow storm conditions going up and back to Mammoth.
Good luck with whatever you end up choosing; and let us know :-)

Yep, you're undoubtedly correct. I notice that Tire Rack says the PS2 are not available for my car (?).
When these PS2 need replacing I'll very likely go with the ASA 4 ZP. For now they've still got quite a bit of life left in them. Sidewalls look excellent (no dryness or cracking) and plenty of rubber above the wear bar.
Thanks for the heads-up!
