I am getting my new 2010 C6 GS this week.
In the prior Vette 2009 C6, I had a Vararam unit installed.
It seemed o.k.
Vette Magazin prublished many different cold air intakes.
They did not rate them.
Is there another cold air intake, which is jsut as
good as Vararam or even better?
Easier and cheaper to install?
What make would it be?
Where could I order one?
Would appreciate a quick answer!

No answer as to other units, but curious as to whether you removed the Vararam from your '09?
Off topic: My 2001 Coupe has a Z06 air intake. The C5 Z06 intake on a C5 Coupe allows for more air intake (vs. stock) ... though I am sure is nowhere near as much as today's aftermarket.

The cold air intake on my 2010 GS looks just like the after market units. I was thinking about changing mine until I saw the unit that comes stock. If I were you I would wait until you got you car and look at it. Or if you can look under the hood of another GS look before you buy.

I sold the 2009 C6 with the Vararam Intake.
It was too costly to take out and there were cuts
made for the unit. The orig. unit would no longer
fit, without extra cost and repalcement parts.

I installed a BBK cold air intake in my 07 vette. Cost was under $300. Don't know what the HP increase is, but it sure sounds nice when it sucks air in. I also installed a smooth flow (not the corrugated stock unit) connection from the BBK to the air mass sensor.
