I have a 2008 zo6. In Illinois, license plates ared required on the front of the vehicle. My front plate is currently attached by use of 3M double sided tape. Is there any alternative?

I have a removable holder, on my C6. I like it because I didnt have to drill or tape anything to the car. Here is the link for the bracket at Mid America.

You can pull it off anytime you want just by pulling the pins, I think it will work on the ZO6.

I live in Maryland where front license tags are required as well.   Mine is attached to the passenger side front visor with mini bungy cords  so it can be seen from the front of the car.  The law here states that the front tag has to be seen from the front of the vehicle and not specifically attached the the front bumper.  Get a copy of the statute from your state and read it...some states do require it to be attached to the front bumper even if the factory doesn't supply a bracket or some way to do this (some foreign exotics don't).  They place the onus of mounting the tag on you and not the manufacturer.  I have been stopped and ticketed  but beat it in  court since I was complying with the law in my state.    I keep the court papers with me and show troopers/officers when they pull me over now and they don't waste their time or mine any longer.

Good luck!
