Anyone with convertible had any problems with headliner getting caught on body trim when placing top back to up position? Mine now has two inch rip on seam due to contact with plastic body guide while 'refastening'.

I would contact your / a dealer right away. Should be covered under warranty.

Two dealers refused and left me on my own but a thrid stepped up to the plate contacted GM and found a bulletin re harware being too long and possibly ripping convertable headliners. He and GM will fix the problem and install new harware inspite of my car being out of warranty. Some dealers get it and some dont inspite of their hard times. Three cheers for this local Chevy deal
r and service manager.

To Dogone...If you are praising a particular Chevy Dealer, name them for the rest of us please!!
I called Courtesy Chevy on Hwy 50 in Orlando, FL about my recall on the steering column and I called 4 times to the Service Advisor and got no response. Not sure if they have a Manager??? You are right, they don't get it!!

The Chevy dealer is Jim McComb Chevy. Unfortunately dont think many will be able to use them but one never knows. They are in Peoria Illinois about three hours drive southwest of Chicago.
