ALTERNATOR PULLY

looking to see if anyone knows were i can purchase the new pully tool set, i am trying to change the clutch pully on a 2006 vette - i took the alternator out to a rebuilding shop and thats when we found out that gm has changed the inner spline. i have even asked local cheavy dealers but they have not come across this yet because if there is a problem they just repace the hole thing

Why do you have to rebuild the alternator on an 06? If there is a problem with it, shouldn't that be covered under warranty? Anyway, try calling Mid America Motorworks to see if they have the tool you need. If not them, try Bair's Corvettes.

NOT LOOKING TO REBUILD BUT RATHER A SMALLER PULLY ---- BECAUSE WE HAVE DONE SOME REALLY WILD STEREO UPGRADE AND NEED THE POWER INCREASE. HAVE ADDED 2 JL12W6'S, ADS BOOK SHELF SPEAKERS IN REAR MBQUARTS IN THE DOOS WITH AN ECLIPSE HEAD UNIT AND 3 JL AMPS FOR POWER PLUS A FEW OTHER TOYS ---- NOT TO MENTION THAT THIS IS A COVERTIBLE AND THE TRUNK WAS SET UP AS FREE AIR.
