"BLUBYU" has the two tone shale/natural (dark shale?) color combo. I'd like to add a cup holder that snugs in under the passenger side of the center console lip but have so far only been able to find them in black. Any idea where might I find a paint/dye to match either the console (natural/dark shale?) or the carpet (shale)? A black blob in that light colored interior just would look out of place imho.

Autozone/Oreilly's typically have interior paints/dyes, for carpet and hard surfaces(vinyl, plastics, etc). If you know the interior color code, sometimes the paints have the same codes. If nothing else, you shlould be able to find a close match.

Eastwood or Top Flight might have a vinyl paint in your interior color. Top flight is the old Corvette America.

Vette(s): 1972 conv, 4-speed, 350, 200hp, numbers match, rally wheels, war bonnett yellow w/white top. good condition, nice driver.
Well my Pal, Please don't try to match your interior with auto store paint. Tried it with my "Z" car, and WAY off. But DO try Top Flight. I have used Many of the rattle cans in their dye match. Does well and looks good. I trust the old color doesn't have a sun fade issue.

Top Flight? Is that a brand or a vendor? And nope - the car hasn't been outside enough to have any (significant) sun fading.

Top Flight is the old "Corvette America". Based in Pennsylvania and ships to anywhere. Google it, or secure a printed catalog. Be careful of the quality, much is imported.

Sorry Gary. No your reply wasn't invisible, I simply missed seeing it by clicking on the little arrow that takes one to the latest post in the thread. Over the past dozen years of being "Vette-less" I have lost touch with the Corvette parts world. Thanks for the suggestion...!!!
