HELP!

I think my '88 is an Anniversary Edition, but how can I tell for sure???

Vin:1G1YY2184J5116813

Why I think it might be:

1.  Has correct side badge
2.  Has white steering wheel/white paint/white leather interior.
3.  Has a bad spot on console where there is black glue residue, and two empty holes, that look like might have held a missing numbered plaque.

Why it might not be:

1.  Wheels are brushed aluminum with bad (failing) clear coat.
2.  No numbered ID tag on console (who would remove that??)
3.  Seats are not "embroidered" with anything (Dont 35th's have something??).

I really don't know much about C4's, and bought this car for a driver (which is GREAT).  Is there a build tag, or option tag somewhere that would say ZO1??

Any help GREATLY appreciated.

There should be a RPO code sticker in the center console that say ZO1 and Z52 + other options codes for the car like paint code 40+41 and 113 for interior.
But this package can be replicated easily by ordering a complete 35TH new interior and  painting the roof bow in black...
Remember that there is more 96 Grand Sport clone in the world than the 1000 originaly built!!!
Good luck with your search for that Z01. Cool

Thanks!

I do have real 35th!  Has all the option codes mentioned, including Z01.

Now, how do I find out what the plaque number should have been?  Does anyone have an idea for finding a replacement plaque??
