I put these on the car this weekend and they sound great especially considering the old flowmasters were completely rotted out inside.

If it isn't broke, I haven't fixed it yet....

Those look to be muffler eliminators!  So those pretty loud inside the car?

Actually a lot quieter than the blown flowmasters.  Each side contains two small (8") glass packs.  Nice sound.  I haven't had them at speed yet. My car still has the cats and resonator.

Thumbs Up Tbird you will love them I had them on my 84. You will get a little poping on deceleration. When you get on it they are great. I put the Eliminators on my 96. They are a little louder and pop a lot BUT at cruising speed in 6th they are great just about hear  them. Go Get  emBig smile

Yea, very minor popping.  I had them to 100 on Tuesday, fantastic.  Not too loud at speed at all.

How pricey were those  fine pipes you have there  ?  Do you have any drone  ?
I'm not running any mufflers , Sounds pretty good  .....It's still to quiet for me

Mike they cost about $200.00 Lot cheaper than mufflers.  They sound great you only hear them when you nail it Ha  Ha I do that  a lot, Easy in stll I had to cut my pipes  it was all one piece you MAY haveot just remove two clamps Good luckThumbs Up

Good deal wingnut, I don't have any Mufflers on my  C4 , I went  to my muffler shop with a pair of  1 chamber flowmasters  & the  guy says  .... Try it with no Muffs  ....I did it to my sisters Vette & it sounds  great . I like it with no muffs just running thru the cats  , it roars with no drone  what so ever @ W.O.T.  or at part throttle . It's still a lil too quiet for me  but it sounds  great . I run a pair of original 40 series 2 chamber Flow Masters on my  Chevelle  (SBC) and that thing just sounds like a beast  just idling . I gave away those 1 chambers to a friend who put them on his  Fox body  mustang.Beer

Are those made by pacesetter ? My black 85 has something very similar but it has a bigger muffler   (chrome tip yellow band, black muff. & pipe)

Vette(s): I have a 1991 Artic White, Red Interior convertible, 30,000 miles on it, & a 1993 40th Anniversary with 50,000 miles on it
I installed a set of flow masters on my Anniversary Edition, sounds great. Ran it a few times at the drag strip and went all the way ti the Finals in the Street Muscle class. Love both my Corvettes.
