Last week I removed the spare, aired it up and cleaned everything. Lot's of sand in the spare pan.
I noticed that there is some pretty heavy cables back there that look to be fuel tank retainers. I'm wondering why?
Did early C4s have fuel tanks falling out? LOL Or could it be due to requirements for a rear end collision for the tanks to be secured to the car?
BTW my build sheet is glued nicely to the front face of the tank. I've heard normally they are on top on the pass side. The regular guy must have been on vacation or breathed too much glue fumes. Ha Ha.
If it isn't broke, I haven't fixed it yet....
