Vette(s): 1982 CE, also own 96 CE LT4, 91 ZR-1, 95 LT1, 2004 coupe

You had the run flat option on your C4? Don't see that very often. I got rid of them on my 04 before it was a year old never looked back, hated the ride.

Sounds like a good plan on the upgrades.

I do -- from the build sheet (found over the gas tank) XFR and XFS is there along with a whole list of RPO's.
BTW -- the compnine build sheet has 2  "unknowns" -- they are: VM3 and WY5 .. do you know what they are?

There is about  1"x3" hole in the line build sheet damaged when removed from the gas tank. Those codes may be in that section that's damaged.

Another strange thing I noticed is that the build sheet says the exterior colour is "Medium Green Metallic (45U)
The touchup paint I bought is:  47 WA 9539  (no colour name)  .

The tires are all but brand new but made in 2002 --- The original owner replaced them with the same tires. I got 4 stickered P-zeros with refinished  '88/89's for $1.2k so I can't complain. Those should improve the ride for me somewhat. Got Runcraps on my GS and I hate them. They're on the list of 'to-do's'.

Pardon the off topic.....Smile and thanks for the help. I really like my C4 nearly as much as my GS.

In '94 45U was Polo Green Metallic
Can't find what VM3 stands for

Hope this helps

I just put a Corsa (sport) on my LT5 sounds good little bit raspy but I have headers. Good thing is absolutely no drone or resonance. the corsa has an h setup just before the resonator.  The fit was great.

Got the Corsa installed a week ago and very happy with it. No headers and no rasp -- rather tamer than I expected but no complaints at all. Nice and throaty idle and acceleration after which cruising at hwy speed is very pleasant with no hint of  a drone (until acceleration again.

Great system, seems well worth the extra coin.

I was thinking that the OEM system is much heavier......but after weighing the old system (71lbs) and asking Corsa about their system it seems that it's slightly heavier at 81lbs. (including packaging) according to Corsa. So a few more pounds over stock.

Surprisingly the OEM system came off in one piece which I have should I want to go back to stock.

Now the C4 has some 'attitude'.....
