Update, Fired the 88 up today, still no leaks, thank God. The car runs better, smoother and the real test was starting after warm-up, it fired right up. I'm happy now, Thanks everyone........Joe
Didja do a re-learn on your model?

Jon is very good, and not to forget to mention; very generous with his time and knowledge.

I did mine with the Bosch III's, did a re-learn, took it out....I found out it was my opti going bad and not the injectors....but was glad I changed the injectors because:
As soon as it was properly warmed up, I hit the on-ramp to I-49 and the car promptly barked the tires from first to 2nd....auto tranny w/2.59 gears....true story!

When you say, re-learn, you mean drive the car about 40 miles. My problem is that very rarely do I leave the battery connected. I keep the car at a garage at one of my rentals and it sits until a nice sunny day, then I connect the battery, set the IAC and take it for another lesson.

Re-learn =
1-disconnect battery and drain all capacitors (even the radio has some juice still stored, just turn on headlights while battery is disconnected).

2-re-connect battery and start car....let idle for 15 minutes or so....do not rev engine.

Thats how its done on my 96.

Jon, Nice to hear you are a sponsor here. Your injectors are sitting in a cool dark place waiting to be installed in the first week of June after my trip to Bowling Green, KY Memorial Day Weekend. Again, Thank You for the no charge long term packaging. You and your company are the the best example of an American Business....Phil
