we lost a C-4 and driver. Had a bad crash up this way. Driver of this 89 C-4 was trying to pass and ended up tangling with a Semi. Driver didn't survive.

Yikes! That's really unfortunate. Hate to lose a fellow C4 enthusiast. Are there any more pictures? The rear end seems to be gone!

no more pictures that I can legally post at this time, but yes the entire rear end is gone. if you look thru the passenger compartment you can see there is noting behind it. The investigator working the case for us, said the entire front end was still in perfect condition. It's not often you see that with any kind of car.

The interior and seats look fairly intact. It's very sad to hear the driver wasn't wearing a seat belt.

That's sad for sure. I'm going to finish getting the parts I need for the racing belts for mine. The poor soul would've had at least a chance with a belt on.

shame to see a vette in thatcondition. think the driver would have had more of a chance if he used his head more.

I am glad you found that article, it's a shame that the investigating Trooper on this crash works for me and we can not tell everything we know, but the news can publish anything without anyone controlling their comments. There are still matters under investigation on this case, but as more time passes and depending on some of the results, I may be able to shed some more light on this one later. Just be carefull out there, we are not bullett proof guys.

We lost a great friend in June who had a minor crash in his '66 Mustang and wasn't wearing a seat belt. I've gotten into a terrible habit of not wearing mine when driving around town. Today is the day I hook the ararm sensor back up!
