Vette(s):
SOLD - "The Toy" - '70 Convertible
SOLD - "The Beast" - '90 ZR-1 (#682)
SOLD - "Betty" - '28 Ford Model A Tudor
SOLD - "BLKBRRD" - '78 Pontiac Trans Am
"BLUBYU" - '04 Coupe
While on a vacation road trip this summer in "The Beast" the "Service Ride Control" light came on.  I have an older Snap-On "Red Brick" scanner that I picked up on eBay awhile ago.  I'll have to dig around a bit but if I have the correct cartridges will this unit tell me what code is causing the light to be on?

Depends on the software version of the cartridges, Jim. The earlier ones would not do much more than engine/trans, and limited ABS stuff. If your cartridges are '97 or newer, it should be able to pull codes for all of the systems.There were also separate cartridges for the ABS system on the earlier ones. I'd have to look at mine at home and see what all the last ones they put out had available. I think my Domestic stuff goes to '99-2000, but I ain't sure.
