B
I had all the weatherstripping replaced when it was painted. But I still can't take it thru a pressure car wash! Well at least not without wearing my swimsuit!

Coupe, pfft. Seems like it should be a piece of cake. What issues were encountered, and why does it still leak?
My first and only to-date weatherstrip replacement project was an 88 Convertible. I did my own top replacement, and replaced all the weatherstrip in conjunction with the top fabric. I had never done one before, and I sold that car 15 years ago, but I still have yet to see a nicer C4 replacement top installation. The fit and alignment was perfect. I had about 40 hours in it though. Nothing leaked either. I drove and parked it in the rain regularly. I would expect a coupe to be a slam-dunk in comparison. What am I missing?
