My c4 rides too rough for me. Any suggestions for shocks that will give me a softer ride.

Vette(s): 1972 conv, 4-speed, 350, 200hp, numbers match, rally wheels, war bonnett yellow w/white top. good condition, nice driver.
It's not the shocks. It's the suspension. Need to change the spring rate.

Would that be covered in the service manual I have for the 1992 model? I couldn’t find it.

It entails removing the existing ones, and getting NEW softer ones. Lighter spring rate. The web site supporters should have them in their catalogs. These cars are noted for harsh rides. They changed the rates in some of the newer C-4 models.

I'm sure everyone here is assuming you don't have the optional FX3 Selective Ride and Handling and/or the Z07 Adjustable Suspension Package, Correct?
