Rain Fog

   Just starting this year. When the rain and outside temp is just so...the outside of my windshield will fog just like when someone wearing glasses enters a walk in cooler or freezer. I have to keep turning on the wipers to "wipe" the windshield clear. I am not talking about the inside fogging up, it's the outside that does it. Running the defroster has no effect on the situation, and it doesn't happen every time it rains.

   This is driving me nuts and lord knows I am crazy enough now. I also have another problem that may or may not have any bearing on this situation. When I run the heat, I don't get much. It will melt ice off the windshield, but never gets very hot. I have unplugged the compressor sometimes and that improves the amount of heat, but not by much.

   Last piece of info I should include, this is on my 40th Anniversary Edition. Would appreciate any in put from someone that has experienced this on a C4 Vette. A associate said it was the heater core that has a leak. No, that is not it, that would cause fogging on the inside of the car and would give a smell of antifreeze plus leak on the floor board. None of this happens.
