just wondering about any upgrades anybody has done or what upgrades any one wants to do or customizing.

my 90 is basically stock L98. i have installed 24# injectors instead of the stock 22# and have installed a 52mm throttle body instead of the48mm. also installed an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, hi-flow catalytic converter and low back pressure mufflers.

i had to replace the rugs on the door sills and also got the covers in clear plastic with corvette in white letters on it. installed louvers over the blinkers/fog lights. also put a wing on the back. there are a couple things i would like to do like maybe a body kit (thinking about it). the other thing would be to get louvers for the back window. these are kind of hard to find and the last one i have seen went for over 300.00.

any one else have any interesting mods on their cars?Thumbs Up

seat of the pants feel..if you don't have the "performance axle"..great bang for the buck----i personally just did the 1.6 roller rocker mod...the added valve lift is something you can really feel Thumbs Up

my car has a great rumble to it with the mufflers on it. everyone except my wife says it sounds great but she says it's too loudBig smile. an idiot hit me the end of march and as soon as the guys insurance company sends the settlement it will be fixed. the body shop said he will repaint the whole car which is great and plus i asked him if he would install the door gaskets and rear window gaskets that i have already for me. he said he would for no charge so that will save me some bucks and get a couple big ticket items done.Thumbs Up

All the stuff you did sounds good except the injectors, fuel regulator, and the wing. IMHO the whole intake has to be matched for maximum flow and again, IMHO, the wing belongs on a ricer...Phil

I agree.  The body stuff is all personal taste, so do what makes you feel good.   But 96LT1 is dead on...a 3.45 rear gear upgrade and 1.6 roller rockers will absolutely give you a jolt in the seat of your pants.   And still be a nice street machine.
