Vette(s): 1991 L98 Base Convertible w/removable hardtop.4 speed auto. White with red leather. 63,000 miles, all original except has after market radio.
The sticker on my 1991 list New York Warranty Enhancements at a cost of $65. Can someone tell me what this option consisted of and why it was an option. Vette was delivered to a New York dealer.

Cannot locate a RPO code. It is listed under options on window sticker between six-way passenger seat and white convert top. Searched Google nothing. Will contact NCM. Thanks

The window sticker should show the codes for any options next to the option. For instance, the power passenger seat is RPO code AC1.
Could certainly be some sort of dealer derived Warranty program, but why is it on the window sticker? Window stickers were applied at the factory, afaik, so any dealer ordered option should also be shown on the RPO code label on the rear storage door, or under the arm rest/console lid.
Now...a build sheet will list waaaay more stuff than the window sticker. So I wonder if we are talking about a Window sticker, or the build sheet?

I'm fairly sure that back in the day certain states (such as New York) decded that some manufacturers warranties on specific systems and/or parts was not long enough by both time and mileage.... so in order to sell to dealers in these states GM had to extend some of the warranty period.
Once GM knew which state the car would be sold in--it was added to the window sticker and the customer got to pay for this factoty extended warranty....just sayin'
