Yesterday I put my 90 into storage. The weather here in central Illinois has been nice, but that will be changing. I can't wait for spring.

Sundew: Even up here in the Northland the weather has been quite nice the past week. I will be putting my '86 Coupe away this weekend. I had it out for Veterans Day today and had people ask me about it - what year, how long have I had it, how many miles, etc. The snow will be flying in a few days, the weatherman said. It will be a long winter.

I can feel the pain here, I keep mine ready to go until the first snow. Up here in the mountains they sprinkle the roads with small stones and all kinds of stuff, i will clean and shine it all winter to some satifaction

I, for the life of me, can not understand why anyone would park thier vette, all weinter long.
I've had new vettes, in NJ/NY, for ever and not one day passed that I didn't drive them in any weather.
Unless, it's #1 1953, drive the darn thing.
The snow, cold, heat, bugs are not going to hurt it.
My first new vette, 4 days old, 1969, got hit at a gas station, while parked.
It got repaired and I drove the crap out of it, till my new 75, arrived.
Every day!

BlackShark:
The problem up here in Minnesnoooowta is that the local municipalities love to spread tons and tons of salt on the roads even with minimal snowfalls. You know what that can do to your chassis and suspension.
In addition, when it snows 8 to 12 inches, our C4's do not handle well at all. I envy you guys down there in Florida. Enjoy the winter.

I drive 150 miles, 5 days a week to and from work, i use a 2003 sable or my 2002 villager. The paint looks like crap and throw in a windshield at least once a year.not afraid to drive the vette, no reason to abuse it

Drive mine all year long. Here in Nashville the weather only gets bad enough for about a week or so a year. It gets left in the garage when it gets that bad other than that i can drive pretty much all year.
