Vette(s): 1991 L98 Base Convertible w/removable hardtop.4 speed auto. White with red leather. 63,000 miles, all original except has after market radio.
I have seen multiple piece chrome and stainless steel for the C4. None are as nice as the one made for C5 & C6. I will keep looking in my catalogs and post info on them when I relocate. I have a white 91. I cleaned up everything under the hood and painted the under hood matching white, left fender wells black. The contrast is awesome and draws immediated attention at shows. Maybe an option. Take Care & Drive Safe!

Interestingly, the "Falconer" C4 has the backside of the hood painted to match the outside (except the tubs). They did a very neat job of lengthening the hood for that motor and I only noticed how it was finished when I was looking at the pictures I had taken. Seems like the serpentine is always throwing dirt on the black and I think a smooth finish would make it a lot easier to maintain so one of these winters I'm painting it too.
