84 corvette #8106 has a black tag in the engine compartment with a build date of 05D.
I believe this represents June 5th, 1983 from what I've researched, but I'm not sure. The build sheet from National Corvette Museum shows a May 23rd, 1983 build date, and I understand that these can differ slightly (mine about 2 weeks).
Any assistance would be appreciated...

The interior door handles are different on the very early build '84s, as is the weatherstrip around the fenderwell, between the hood, and the top of the fenderwell(around the tires). There was also some differences in the texture of the rear, inner fenderwells, as the early builds had a grid pattern on them that the later cars did not.
