I saw this in the newest Corvette Fever....looks pretty cool. I hate the thought of having to redo(remove/replace) all the harness stuff for the infectors under the plenum, tho....
Anyone else like this idea?

Very cool.....its another link to tuning our cars at home or on the road...tuning for various altitudes, heat (or lack of), and states that require strict emissions control.
 a great product.
Price = TBD (to be determined?)

Seems like its gonna be a decent addition, I just didnt see nothing for late LT1's...

Thanks Joel  Thumbs Up

The LT1s don't have a distributor like the L98...they're opti-spark to start with.
I really like the idea of this set-up, but...in the magazine article, they didn't really show any major hp or torque gains from it, even after the dyno tune on the software. I guess the real improvement would be in getting sequential injection on the early L98s, which means quicker starts, smoother idle, and more responsive throttle.
I kinda think it  might not really be worth the hassle of buying all the stuff, and doing the labor, for just a couple of horses, and a few ft/lbs. They do say that it will allow the L98 to make more power higher up in the rpm range, which is one of the  biggest drawbacks to the TPI system. It just falls on it's face around 4500-5000rpm.
I guess a little more R&D might produce better results. The magazine said the guy had installed the original "prototype" system in his Shark car, and had  put a lot of trouble-free miles on it.

joel, might have gotten this wrong but i thought on my 90 the computer controlled the  injection for each cylinder? with all the reading i was doing to try and learn all this stuff on the 90 i may have misread it.

Wow...I musta missed that post, Dave...sorry! Embarrassed

The early L98s are "batch-fire", which means the infectors are fired in batches...like, all of them on the driver side are fired at the same time, and all on the pass side are fired at the same time. They are not fired individually.
The laterL98s(89 & up, I think?) are "sequential" fire, which means that each cylinder's infector is fired as needed, just like the sparkle plugs.
