Is there a way to research what specific components were installed on my 1984 vette?

I am trying to see what exactly I got for my money.

Thanks in advance,

Guido

Look in the arm rest in the center console, or on the bottom of the driver side rear compartment lid. There will be(or should be) a label there that lists every component installed on the car, such as the tires, speedo gear, engine code, colors for interior/exterior, A/C, automatic/standard, etc.
These are listed as "RPO codes".
You can either ask your local dealer to help de-code them, get a "Corvette Black Book"(will not tell all of the available codes), or......
you can look right here for a list of RPO codes...
You may find that some of the codes you have on your label are not listed.  Those will be the basic, "standard" equipment.
Another way to get ALL of the info is to contact the NCM(National Corvette Museum), and get a copy of the build sheet for the car.

Call, or contact them thru the NCM website...

You used to be able to contact the Corvette Action Center(NOT the website CAC), and get copies for free. Now they are only available from the NCM for a small fee. When I got the stuff for my '85 years ago, they sent me 8-9 copies of the build sheet, but that was before the NCM started handling it. It will give all of the equipment/options on the car, as well as the dealer it was delivered to.
