I have a 1990 convertible vette and the top is stuck down when i push the button it clicks but wont release.The passenger side does release but the drivers side wont.Any info is appreciated

On my 88, sometimes when I just hit the button quick, the deck lid will release just on one side like you are saying. If I close it back down and hold the button for a couple of seconds then both sides will release and the deck lid will pop-up. Try this first....... if this dose not work for you, then I would think that one of the actuators my be shot.
If you have a look at some of the corvette part supply houses, you will most likely find a diagram of the system and parts that are available.....

Sometimes the release cables get out of adjustment. On each side by the latch there's a handle you can press to manually release the latch. It's hard to see, so once you get the deck lid released, it's a good idea to paint it white so you can see it better for future emergencies.
I'm assuming you've had your vert for a while and you've remembered to first pull the handle under the deck lid that releases the top from the deck lid.
I have the factory manual, and I've been looking for a way to adjust mine, but so far no luck.
