Has anyone had problems with their power mirrors not moving vertically, but work fine horizontally? I installed a new switch but it didn’t fix the problem. Thanks!

SOLD - "The Toy" - '70 Convertible
SOLD - "The Beast" - '90 ZR-1 (#682)
SOLD - "Betty" - '28 Ford Model A Tudor
SOLD - "BLKBRRD" - '78 Pontiac Trans Am
"BLUBYU" - '04 Coupe

Sorry, never had issues with the mirror motors on "The Beast". Occasionally a mirror would get bumped out of position and moving it back into position with the switch would cause some ratcheting to happen.

Check the wiring loom that goes from the door frame to the door. Those wires do deteriorate and get brittle with age so it's possible with the door motion over time the one that controls the motion has snapped. Just a thought.
