C4s seem to be the orphans of the Corvette world when it comes to finding competent mechanics. Mechanics I know don't do them & don't even know anyone who does.
I live in the San Fernando Valley (Los Angeles area), so the "Valley" or Simi Valley is best. My car runs real good..for now..I'm just waiting for the day.
Thanks

Silverfox1,
I've run into the same attitude! Who do these people think they are? So far the three tuners/mechanics who say they specialize in Corvettes don't even drive one... I've a '59 I used to race, I bought the '88 just to have some fun! I have the ability to purchase a new Vette but choose not to spend that kind of money just to have a new one.
Those that make the "not great" slam on flattops are doing a great injustice to the Corvette heritage. I guess you just have to consider the source and drive for the pure fun these " Cool drivers" offer....

Try talking to Dave Philhower at "Dave's Garage" in Simi Valley, Ca. He builds some awesome Hot Rods and may be able to advise you.

Thanks Taps. Gotta make a run out to Simi this Friday & will stop by. Also found out a nearby shop, Shortee's, also on Easy St.
