I'm going to try and make it there in my 1990 base model, I just hope someone can figure out why it runs sometimes and other times it won't start, it's something electrical, I think?

If you feel like going on a mountain run before the C4 gathering let me know we have three cars from Michigan going.

One of three things.
Resistor in the Key is getting bad. If you did not get a new one recently try that.
two.
VAT which people actually think is the resistor in the key. The key is only part of the VAT. the next time your car won't start lock the doors. and unlock the passenger door using your key. What may be happening is that your unlock sensor on you drivers door needs to be adjusted.
Third.
Do you have a manual transmission. Your clutch switch may be going bad.

Gordon Killebrew is usually at the Gathering and he is one of the country's foremost authority on C4's and trobleshooting C4s. Sometimes a character, but knows more about C4s than anyone. Look him up at http://gordonkillebrew.us/ . He also conducts Corvette classes for C4s as he worked at the Corvette factory for years.
