Happy Mother's Day to all those Corvette Ladies out there!
The driver's side window of our '96 roadster is stuck in the full up position after the dealer tried to repair the switch that was already seriously malfunctioning before they touched it. In need of "Left Window Master Switch #10212993" which is discontinued by GM and appears difficult to find after a search this morning. Did find two used ones on eBay for $99 each though one looks a bit worse for wear already.
Any ideas on where I could locate one of these in fairly decent shape?
Appreciate any help the members could give on this issue.

I don't know why GM uses junk switches. They really are poorly made. Still, try

They should have them from cars they are parting out and will guarantee them.
www.whiteracingproducts.com also were fixing clusters so they might do switches, I don't know for sure

Great! Appreciate very much the leads you've given me. Just sent emails to two of them and checking the last one now. Thanks again, Frank

I have to admit knowing nothing about GM switches. But, my Fords have switches that can be carefully disassembled and cleaned. I've done that to 5 of the switches in my Tbird with 100% success getting them fully functional again.
If it isn't broke, I haven't fixed it yet....

Your recommendation of Taber Corvette Parts was a success with several on hand at $55 each. Sure appreciate your input.

From what I gather, this switch is not one of those to take apart, clean, repair and re-assemble, but the dealer was able to so with limited success afterward. Appears the thing was just getting too old to operate properly, sort of like some of my own personal mornings these days!
